There is a confusing array of grants available from the three levels of government to assist community organisations. Sometimes the administration of these grants is unfair. For example, a parliamentary enquiry found the former LNP state governments 'Stronger Communities Fund' was mainly allocated to electorates held by LNP MPs.
Labor has introduced laws to make all grant funding fairer.
The two grant programs below allocate the some funding to each electorate across the state and are therefore fairer.
