MEHAN MEETS NEW SUPERINTENDENT CHAD GILLIES – TUGGERAH LAKES POLICE DISTRICT
Member for The Entrance, David Mehan MP met with the new Commander of Tuggerah Lakes Police District, Superintendent Chad Gillies who recently joined us from the Port Stephens-Hunter Valley Police District.
The meeting presented an opportunity for Mr Mehan to relay the concerns and issues affecting the community.
Among other discussion points, Mr Mehan raised the following items:
· Policing in The Entrance electorate;
· Future upgrades and improvements scheduled for The Entrance Police Station;
· Community engagement;
· Prevention of crime and other anti-social behaviours.
Mr Mehan stated, “I welcome Superintendent Gillies proactive approach to community engagement, and I look forward to working with him to enhance the safety of our region.
