IMPROVED BUS SERVICES
Member for The Entrance, David Mehan, welcomes the news that two new express services have been added to the timetable making it easier for the community to access public transport between The Entrance, Gosford and Tuggerah.
The new services will see passengers get to Tuggerah Railway Station in just 20 minutes and Gosford Station in 30 minutes.
Red Bus Services began operating the two new routes on October 10 which run every 15 minutes during the morning and afternoon peaks, saving commuters up to 30 minutes each trip.
In total, 540 services a week are being added to the timetable.
Mr Mehan said:
‘This is a great improvement to public transport in our community.’
‘Limited services in our area has made commuting via public transport cumbersome in the past.’
‘The new services mean that our community can access the major train stations with greater ease.’
“It’s fantastic to see the employment of 30 additional locals recruited to drive the buses.’
